Entrepreneur-in-residence
Purpose:
​
The VIP Women’s Development Center is a co-working and gathering place for business women who want to build and further their mission as an entrepreneur or as a corporate business woman. Founder, Angela Nuttle, has created a space where women can learn, connect, work, and generate ideas with other women. The Center offers co-working spaces, a conference room, cafe, a large training space, video production/podcast studio, and two overnight airbnb rooms for those traveling to town for training.

We are searching for a motivated, driven and passionate Woman Entrepreneur who is starting and/or building her journey into developing her own business. She will live in residence at the VIP Center in our 3rd floor studio room and be responsible for managing occasional female overnight guests, light housekeeping, opening and closing the center at the beginning and end of the day, and back up assistance for training event set up. In exchange, the Woman Entrepreneur will live rent-free at the Center, have complimentary access to training courses offered, and receive business coaching each month from Center founder Angela Nuttle.
The Woman Entrepreneur in Residence must be able to live at the center during the residency period and will be provided a comfortable room and furnishings if needed. There is a kitchenette available. The building has a security system.
Application Process

The application process includes an initial application with optional video introduction, and in-person interview. Applicants will be screened and selected at each stage and will be notified if selected to move to the next stage.

Requirements

Able to live at the Center during the residency period.

This is single occupancy residency for approximately 7 months.

May function as the backup On-Site Facility Coordinator and be available for 24 hours per week on a flexible schedule for the following duties:

Open and close the building each day

Light housekeeping for all spaces and AirBnB rooms

Coordinate coverage when On-Site Facility Coordinator is not available

Some meeting room setup

Reporting building, client or service issues to Owner

Cafe/Caterer Entrepreneur
Purpose
​
The VIP Women’s Development Center provides a cafe for our VIP members and others who are attending events in the building.
​
We are searching for a motivated, driven and passionate entrepreneur with a desire to build a food and beverage service for the VIP Women’s Development Center. This will include food and beverage service for individual patrons as well as exclusive catering for events at the Center. The Cafe is permitted as a warming kitchen.
We are seeking an entrepreneur who has some experience in catering and food service who wants to build or expand her own venture. The Cafe Entrepreneur will be provided space to develop an inviting and high quality food and beverage service. This arrangement allows for the Cafe Entrepreneur to keep most profits from the food and beverage service with the Center receiving a catering service charge on events.
The Cafe Entrepreneur will be responsible for staffing the Cafe during Center operating hours and catering events on nights and weekends.
The Cafe Entrepreneur will have creative rights to menu and beverage design to ensure patrons and catering clients are well-served.

VIP Community Coordinator
Purpose
​
The VIP Women’s Development Center is a place where there are new opportunities for women to connect in creative ways.
​
We are searching for a mature, responsible, and proactive community coordinator who is able to manage the day to day operations of the VIP Center while coordinating events and activities. This person can be an entrepreneur who needs the space to grow her business while working approximately 24-30 hours per week.
The VIP Community Coordinator will be responsible for being the "go to" person for the community members. This is a new role that will be built as we go, but we anticipate this person handling logistics and event coordination for the training room, conference rooms, and member activities/events.
​
The VIP Community Coordinator will have the freedom to create and coordinate co-working community activities and collaborations to build a sense of relationship. She will also regularly connect with members to gather their ideas and desires to create events, clinics, and activities that build a strong community.
The VIP Community Coordinator will work with the Founder and other key team members such as the Entrepreneur in Residence and Cafe Caterer to ensure the building is safe, secure, and members' needs are being met.
