Beth grew up in Fountain Square before her family moved to the southside of Indy, where she still lives today. She and her husband have been married for 18 years and are the proud parents of two teenagers — a son and a daughter. After spending 19 years building a career in public accounting, Beth will begin a new chapter in May 2025, joining Shiel Sexton, a construction company, where she’s excited to bring her skills and passion for numbers to a new industry. Beth is a self-proclaimed nerd for Excel, QuickBooks, and payroll, always finding joy in solving problems. Outside of work, Beth serves in the children’s ministry at Emmanuel Church, where she has been attending since 2013. Faith has played a deeply personal role in Beth’s life, especially after she was diagnosed with a rare blood disorder called TTP (Thrombotic Thrombocytopenic Purpura) in February 2022, following a series of strokes. What began as a life-threatening diagnosis has turned into a powerful story of purpose, growth, and advocacy. Since her diagnosis, Beth has embraced a renewed sense of confidence and calling. She now leads the USTMA Patient Advisory Board, using her voice to advocate for others navigating this rare disease. She is also in the process of writing her first book, sharing her journey with TTP in hopes of inspiring and encouraging others. When she’s not working, writing, or volunteering, Beth enjoys running, spending time with family, and visiting different coffee shops with her husband. She also tries to find ways to make an impact in everything she does — always striving to listen more closely to God’s voice and follow where He leads.
